ENROL NOWCreating, communicating, and keeping boundaries at work
Thursday 5 December 2024
Boundaries at work are the invisible lines that define acceptable behaviours, responsibilities, and interactions between employers, employees, and clients/customers.
For individuals, boundaries are crucial because they protect personal time, energy, and mental well-being. Without clear boundaries, you risk burnout, stress, and dissatisfaction, leading to decreased productivity and poor job performance.
For the company, boundaries create a respectful and efficient work environment. When employees understand their roles and limits, it reduces conflicts, fosters mutual respect, and ensures everyone is working towards the same goals.
And when your clients and customers know your boundaries, they are less likely to get frustrated when things don’t go their way.
What You'll Gain:
- Personal boundaries: What personal boundaries do you need to protect your personal time, energy, and mental well-being?
- Company boundaries: The 5 core areas where companies need boundaries to ensure your employees understand their roles and limits
- Communicating your boundaries and setting clear expectations to employees, colleagues, and clients to avoid misunderstandings and frustrations.

Hey there, I'm Mel.
I'm a food-loving, book-reading, beachgoer who lives on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
I have been a communications professional for my whole career (a long time!). Before and during uni, I worked in retail and hospitality, and as we all know, communication is key to surviving those industries!
As a card-carrying introvert, I know how hard it can be to push yourself out of your comfort zone to do things that involve other people!
One of the things I love doing is helping people level up their communication so they develop stronger and happier relationships - with your colleagues, your team, and in your personal life.
I love that you have read this far because it shows me that you want to understand how communication can help you both personally and professionally.
My clients typically include other professionals who want to communicate to create real connection and sustained engagement.
If this is you, then please join me for one or all of these workshops.
I'd love to see you there.
